The Sweet Life
Preparations are underway for Bella’s 14th annual Gala for Life! This year the Gala will take place on Thursday, October 15th, 6:30-8:30 PM, at the Spearfish Holiday Inn Convention Center (off I-90, Exit 14). The theme, “The Sweet Life,” has been chosen in celebration of the precious gift of life.
Along with a delicious banquet, the Gala for Life will include an update on Bella, testimonies from Bella’s clients and volunteers, a keynote address from a nationally-known speaker, and an opportunity for attendees to offer their support of Bella.
Bella is currently seeking underwriters and table sponsors for the event.
Underwriters stand as the foundation of the fundraising process for the entire Gala for Life.
Your support as an underwriter provides assurance to those who attend the Gala that 100% of their pledges and donations will go directly to Bella’s mission. This type of assurance encourages far more generous giving at the Gala, which means that the underwriter’s investment in Bella Pregnancy Resource Center will be multiplied several times over.
Benefits of Sponsorship
- Your name or logo will appear on the Gala for Life promotional and event materials
- Your banner will be displayed at the Gala for Life
- You will receive an appreciation certificate
- Your name or logo will be noted in the newspaper following the event
- You will receive VIP seating at the Gala for Life
- Your sponsorship gift is tax-deductible
However, the greatest benefit of sponsorship will be in the number of lives that will be impacted in the coming year as a result of your partnership with Bella.
Sponsorship Gift Levels
Diamond: $10,000 or more
Table sponsors are the heart of the Gala for Life.
They are individuals, churches, businesses and corporations that partner with Bella to educate and impact not only the lives of Bella’s clients, but the lives of people they want to bless within the Northern Hills community.
Table sponsorship is just $350*, which provides the table sponsor with tickets for eight for the Gala for Life. Table sponsors invite people they know to join them at the Gala for Life as their guests, so they can introduce them to the life-affirming ministry of Bella. The semi-formal event includes dinner, an inspirational message, information about Bella’s ministry, a client testimonial, and an opportunity for attendees to make a financial contribution to Bella.
Benefits of Sponsoring a Table
As a table sponsor, your sponsorship will be acknowledged in the Gala for Life program, the power-point presentation, and on your table. However, the greatest benefit of sponsorship will be in the number of lives that will be impacted in the coming year as a result of your partnership with Bella.
*Note: According to IRS guidelines, monies given for table sponsorship and tickets are not tax-deductible as these are classified as having received goods or services for the gifts.
Becoming an Underwriter or Table Sponsor is Easy!

Jill Stanek – Special Guest Speaker
When it would have been easier to look the other way, Jill Stanek’s Christian beliefs led her to risk her job, reputation, and friendships to stop the practices of abortion and infanticide. Jill was a registered nurse in the Labor & Delivery Department at Christ Hospital in Oak Lawn, Illinois where she discovered that not only were abortions being performed there, but babies who were aborted alive were left to die without medical care.
When hospital leaders said that they would not stop these practices, Jill went public and has become a national figure in the effort to protect both born and pre-born infants. Jill remained at Christ Hospital, fighting the fight from the inside, until she was terminated in 2001 for reasons related to her public outspokenness to its abortion practices.
Jill has been quoted in the national media on television, on radio, in print, and by local and national legislators. Jill has now testified three times before the Judiciary Constitution Subcommittee of the U.S. House of Representatives and in several state legislatures.
Today Jill writes at www.jillstanek.com, one of the top ranking pro-life blogs in the U.S. In 2015 Family Research Council gave Jill its “Digital Pro-Life Pioneer Award.”
